In celebration of Mandela Day, the Ehlanzeni District Municipality, in collaboration with Nkomazi Local Municipality, hosted a community upliftment event at Tsambokhulu Crèche. In honour of Mandela Month and the spirit of community service, the crèche underwent a transformation, the building, including the roof, was freshly painted, a new JoJo tank stand was installed, and a vegetable garden was planted. In addition, food parcels were donated to support the crèche.

Department of Education held its Rhandza Xikolo Xa Wena Campaign at Mahhushe Agricultural School. As part of the initiative to promote agricultural education and food production, key infrastructure including a kraal, pigsty, and nursery were constructed on the school premises.

Essential items, including fridges were handed over to the centre. Additionally, the team conducted renovations, such as plastering and painting, to improve the facility

The Executive Mayor Cllr PP Magagula handed over 100 school shoes at Lugebhuta Secondary School. This is part of her birthday celebrations and this year is the 3rd annual celebration.
